ABSTRACT:
The steering column assembly includes: an upper clamp7; a distance bracket8fixed to an outer tube4; a clamp bolt9including a shank9binserted in tilt long holes formed in the upper clamp7and telescopic long holes formed in the distance bracket8; an operation lever10configured to rotate integrally with the bolt9; a cam body11configured of an eccentric cam41and a ring42, the eccentric cam41being provided on the shank9b, the radial dimension of the eccentric cam41gradually changing in its circumferential direction, and the ring42rotatably fitted on the outer periphery of the eccentric cam41. The cam body11rotates and is pressed against an inner tube5to lock the inner tube5to an outer tube4.
