ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for winding a power cord from a floor. The power cord supplies power to a dependent device, such as a vacuum cleaner. The apparatus includes a spool, a traverse for winding and distributing the power cord onto the spool, a motor for driving the traverse, a floor rod for keeping the cord near the floor, and a remote control that couples power from the cord to the dependent device and that activates the traverse to reel the cord onto the spool.
