ABSTRACT:
Grain, produced by a starch bearing plant, which is heterozygous for the dull gene and homozygous recessive for the waxy and the amylose extender genes. The invention also relates to starch with novel functional properties obtained from such grain which can be utilized for foodstuffs and other applications without chemical modifications.
