ABSTRACT:
A new family of stannosilicate molecular sieves which have the zeolite beta structure are disclosed. These molecular sieves have a three dimensional framework structure composed of at least SnO.sub.2 and SiO.sub.2 tetrahedral oxide units (and optionally TiO.sub.2 and GeO.sub.2 units) and have an empirical formula of:
