A stand for a project image viewing apparatus adapted to fixedly maintain the plane of the projected image display screen at an angle inclined rearwardly about 30.degree. from the vertical and to maintain the display screen below the horizontal plane extending through the eye level of an observer seated in front of the image viewing apparatus.
