A retractable roof, for a stadium building, comprising a central arch separating a pair of ungular end segments, one end segment being movable into nesting relationship with the other end segment and the central arch being movable to rest above the nesting end segments, the nesting end segments and the above resting central arch being movable laterally whereby the interior of the stadium is more fully exposed.
