ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for stacking bank notes, including: a main body provided with a passage with a takeout portion for a bank note and a stacker box held thereon and having a master box and a receiving member inside thereof, the master box provided oppositely to the takeout portion with an opening defined between a pair of supporting members on both side thereof, the receiving member being furnished with force toward the supporting members. The apparatus further includes a forcing member movable into the master box across the passage through the opening to a position beyond the supporting members, and a pair of unfolding members protruded from both sides of the forcing member to each side at the above mentioned position at least when the forcing member is moved beyond the supporting members, whereby the bank note is force against the receiving member and then both side portions of the bank note are smoothed out.
