Isocyanurate-modified polyisocyanate compositions prepared by reacting organic polyisocyanates in the presence of catalytic amounts of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal organo-hydroxamates or the metal salt-free acid complex at temperatures from 25.degree. C. to 250.degree. C.
