ABSTRACT:
NaBrO.sub.2.3H.sub.2 O crystals with excellent storage stability which contain at least 30 wt. % of NaBrO.sub.2.3H.sub.2 O and 0.5-5.0 wt. % of NaOH. The crystals are produced by precipitation from NaBrO.sub.2 solutions containing NaOH and impurities and are very useful as oxidizing and brominating agents.
