ABSTRACT:
A stable aqueous solution of human calcitonin (hCT) which remains free of hCT fibrils for at least 24 hours at 25.degree. C. which comprises water, hCT and a cellulose derivative and/or an acid, the type of acid and the amount of acid being so chosen as to achieve said stability in the absence of a salt or a buffer.
