ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method of stabilizing solutions of 3-isothiazolone compounds using a stabilizing compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl; and compositions which comprise 3-isothiazolone compound, solvent and stabilizing compound.
