ABSTRACT:
A sprinkler apparatus10for providing more even coverage of a sprinkled area with water which is achieved by a different speed of rotation of a water deflector13relative to a water diffuser12in a wobbling sprinkler head. A diffuser head11is rotatably attached to a base16and has a water diffuser12for diffusing water passing therethrough. A water deflector13is rotatably attached to the rotatable diffuser head11for directing water emitting from the nozzle21through the water diffuser12. A viscous fluid brake15couples the water deflector13to the water diffuser12to vary the speed of rotation of the water diffuser12relative to the water deflector13to obtain a more even coverage of the area being sprinkled.
