ABSTRACT:
A spring-driven reeler for safety belts in motor vehicles has a belt reel which is acted on with a winding-up force of defined size via a first conical thread reel, a thread and a second thread reel by means of a spring arrangement. Measures are provided in order to maintain the safety of the belted-up vehicle occupants as far as possible on thread breakage.
