ABSTRACT:
A polymer composition is disclosed which can be sprayed or otherwise thinly coated on an open wound to serve as a protective bandage. The composition comprises:
A. 10 to 30% by weight of isobutene relative to total monomer weight;
B. 5 to 85% by weight of total monomer of one or more esters of acrylic or methacrylic acid and one or more normal or branched, monovalent, primary or secondary aliphatic alcohols having 1-4 carbon atoms; and
C. 5 to 85% by weight of total monomer of one or more maleic acid monoalkyl esters having 1-12 carbon atoms in the monoalkyl portion of the molecule.
