A sports utility case which is convertible to a vest and designed to carry elongated sporting objects of every description is disclosed. Several embodiments are contemplated including the incorporation of bullet-resistant fabrics as well as buoyancy means. Multiple layer construction facilitates the easy insertion of different materials between inner and outer surface sides depending on the use contemplated.
