ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a new construction for a laminated sport racket frame, such as for a tennis racket. The frame head is made up of a closed loop while at least another layer of material is wound along the outer periphery of the loop and extends away therefrom at the neck portion of the frame to form the handle portion. The foregoing is achieved through the use of windable materials for forming the respective layers of the laminate, these materials being rigidified by a hardenable liquid bonding agent. The use of windable materials results in a relatively high volumetric ratio of windable material to bonding agent in the finished laminate.
