ABSTRACT:
Disclosed herein are sphere-like magnetite particles showing an apparent density of from 0.40 to 1.00 g/cm.sup.3 and a high thermo-stability and containing from 0.1 to 5.0 atomic % of Si to Fe, and a process for producing the sphere-like magnetite particles.
