ABSTRACT:
A speed control device for a bicycle, comprising a speed control lever and a derailleur having a positioning mechanism, the speed control lever being constructed to return a movable member at the derailleur when operated in overshift, and the derailleur is constructed to move the movable member toward a sprocket to engage with a driving chain by means of a driving force acting therein when operated in undershifting.
