ABSTRACT:
A pair of spectacles has a pair of channels formed in the frame and receiving respective temples which can be retracted and swung into a position in which they lie transverse to the frame to bring them into the position of use. The bar forming the frame member is curved to conform to the head of the wearer at the brow and the temples are of high flexibility so that they can conform to the curvature of the channels in the bar as well as to the head of the wearer. In additon, the ends of the bar are provided with detents for retaining the temples in respective inwardly swung or use positions.
