ABSTRACT:
A sound recording and reproducing machine in which information is recorded in an endless recording medium in a series of tracks which extend lengthwise of the medium at locations mutually spaced in a direction laterally of the medium. When a plurality of electrical signals, each representing information, are applied to the machine the tracks are formed in a predetermined sequence. When a predetermined command signal is applied to the machine recorded information is reproduced from the tracks in the reverse order from the order in which the tracks were formed.
