ABSTRACT:
A sound image control apparatus is arranged by a time difference signal producing unit, and a function processing unit. The time difference producing unit sequentially outputs externally supplied input signals as a first time difference signal and a second time difference signal while giving an inter aural time difference corresponding to a sound image localization direction. This second time difference signal is externally outputted as a left channel signal. Also, the first time difference signal is processed in the function processing unit by using a relative function constituted by a ratio of a left head related acoustic transfer function to a right head related acoustic transfer function in correspondence with the sound image localization direction, and the processed signal is externally outputted as a right channel signal.
