ABSTRACT:
A new solvent comprising a mixture of dialkyl ethers of polyalkylene glycols of the formula: CH.sub.3 O (C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O) x CH.sub.3 wherein x is 3 to 8 and having a molecular weight of 200 to 255 is disclosed. This solvent system is particularly suitable for use in removing acidic components from gas mixtures in subfreezing temperatures.
