ABSTRACT:
A modified solution heat pump having an absorption cycle for upgrading waste heat at a temperature between about 180.degree. F. (82.degree. C.) and 300.degree. F. (149.degree. C.) into steam having a temperature of from 230.degree. F. (110.degree. C.) to about 400.degree. F. (205.degree. C.) at a pressure of from about 20 psia (138 kPa) to about 250 psia (1.72 MPa) using a LiBr water binary solution.
