ABSTRACT:
A solid-state imaging device includes a photoelectric conversion unit110, an analog shift register, and signal output units131and132. The analog shift register is divided into a first transfer section121and a second transfer section122with a substantially central region of the analog shift register being set as a boundary. A common transfer section123is provided in the boundary between the first transfer section and the second transfer section. The common transfer section123selects, as a transfer path of signal charges transferred from the photoelectric conversion unit110, either a first path through the first transfer section121or a second path through the second transfer section122.
