ABSTRACT:
A solid phase change ink composition that includes at least one colorant and an ink vehicle. The ink vehicle further includes at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate compound of the below formulawherein R is independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, a heteroatom, and combinations thereof, and wherein n represents the number of repeating units of from 1 to about 35,000, and wherein x represents an integer from 1 to about 5.
