ABSTRACT:
According to this invention there is provided a soil cultivating implement comprising a plurality of downwardly extending tines arranged in a transverse row and rotatable ground engaging members that are located in front of and behind the row of tines with respect to the intended direction of operative travel of the implement, at least one of the rotatable ground engaging members being in the form of a roller which is mechanically driven during operation, said roller being disposed to the rear of said row of downwardly extending tines and comprising a number of longitudinal elements which extend in the direction of the axis of rotation of the said roller.
