Process for producing sodium carbonate monohydrate crystals having a high bulk density, blocky crystal shape, and uniform particle size distribution from sodium carbonate solutions wherein the sodium carbonate monohydrate is crystallized in the presence of magnesium ions and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate.
