ABSTRACT:
A system for generating number tones for dialing a telephone device. The system comprises a socket assembly, at least one button assembly, and a converter. The socket assembly defines at least one socket. Each button assembly comprises a memory device for storing a sequence of numbers and a switch device. The converter generates a DTMF signal comprising a sequence of DTMF tones. Operation of the switch device causes the converter to generate the DTMF signal based on the sequence of numbers stored by the memory device. The socket assembly electrically connects the converter to the telephone device.
