ABSTRACT:
A coverplate10and gearhousing22are provided for an electric motor23. The coverplate10includes loop structure14and the gearhousing includes guides28such that the loop structure engages with the guides in a snap-fit arrangement to secure the coverplate with respect to the gearhousing. The coverplate10includes locators16extending therefrom and the gearhousing22includes grooves24such that the locators16are received in the grooves24when the loop structure and guides are in the snap-fit arrangement so as to prevent rotation of the coverplate with respect to the gearhousing about an axis.
