ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a smoking article comprising two layers of wrapper material, the outer wrapper having an air permeability of at least 200 C.U. and having a greater permeability than the inner wrapper. Encapsulated flavour is held between the inner and outer wrappers. The encapsulation technique is dependent upon the flavour to be encapsulated and the sidestream to mainstream flavour delivery ratio required. Sidestream smoke may be altered without altering the mainstream smoke, thereby altering room odors.
