A zoom lens is disclosed, comprising, from front to rear, a first lens unit having a positive refractive power and a second lens unit having a negative refractive power, an air separation between the first and second lens units being varied to vary the focal length, wherein the first lens unit comprises, from front to rear, a front lens unit having a negative refractive power, a stop and a rear lens unit having a positive refractive power, satisfying the following condition:
