ABSTRACT:
A permanently tacky slurry type explosive comprises polyisobutylene containing a balanced fuel explosive phase in the form of an explosive material in particulate condition (ammonium nitrate, PETN, RDX and the like) and a minor amount of a carbon fuel (oil or carbon particles).
