ABSTRACT:
A customizable skirt-forming member is disclosed, for use in high stress acrylic tub formation operations. The member generally has a rigid forming wall, at least one adjustable wing hingeably associated with the forming wall, and means for altering the pitch of the at least one wing, relative to the sidewall, so as to simultaneously alter a hinge angle therebetween. The member allows for customized, angled formed front tubs to be formed, while ensuring that the stresses of system operation do not alter the intended angles.A toggle-nut structure is additionally disclosed, which ensures the maintenance of the relative positions of the angled walls of the skirt-forming member.
