ABSTRACT:
The invention concerns a ski fastening for fixing a skiing shoe (1) on a ski, said fastening comprising a body part (2) to be fixed on the ski and a catch member (3) pivotally attached to the body part and with the aid of which, by mediation of an eye-like hook member (4) on the skiing shoe the shoe becomes fixed to the body part (2). The surface of the body part (2) abutting on the shoe tip forms a wedge-like surface (6) substantially conforming to the tip (5) of the shoe and tapering in the direction forward. In the narrowest part of the surface (6), the front part (7), has been provided for the hook member (4) an aperture (8). Furthermore, the catch member (3) comprises a locking claw (9) of curved shape for locking the hook member (4) that has been pushed through the aperture (8) and, along with it the tip (5) of the skiing shoe (1), to be substantially immovable relative to the body part (2).
