ABSTRACT:
Improved ceramic compositions are provided that are useful in the formulation of microwave susceptors as well as the susceptor articles fabricated therefrom. The novel compositions include a binder and a microwave absorbing material of compounds selected from the group consisting of carbides, borides, or nitrides which compositions are sintered at temperatures above about 800.degree. C.
