ABSTRACT:
A floor covering material with enhanced chemical, particularly acid, resistance containing refractory oxide, asphaltite, high oil asphalt, asphalt with a softening point in the range of about 210.degree.-230.degree. F., reinforcing fiber, crystalline polyolefin polymer and optionally, non-crystalline polyolefin polymer. The disclosed floor covering material is single-layered.
