ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed a silver halide photosensitive material for color photography which comprises a phenol type cyan coupler having the formula: ##STR1## wherein the substituents X.sup.1, X.sup.2, Y, Z and n are as defined in the specification and claim of this application.
The cyan coupler mentioned above is a novel cyan dye image-forming coupler and the photosensitive material containing the same according to the present invention has removed the various drawbacks in the prior art.
