ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith at least one blocked photographic reagent represented by formula (I) or (II); ##STR1## wherein, A represents a moiety of a photographic reagent or a moiety of a precursor of a photographic reagent bonded to the ring containing Z through a hetero atom; Y.sup.1, and Y.sup.2 and Y.sup.3 each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, or Y.sup.1 and Y.sup.3 in formula (I) together form a ring; Z represents an atomic group necessary for forming a carbon ring or a heterocyclic ring; and n represents 1 or 2.
The silver halide photographic material is stable under storage conditions.
