ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material is disclosed comprising a support having thereon at least one layer containing a nonionic surface active agent having a polyoxyethylene group and a fluorine-containing compound, wherein the element composition of the surface of said layer has a ratio of F.sub.ls peak intensity/C.sub.ls peak intensity in the range of 0.3 to 2.0 when measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectrometry.
