ABSTRACT:
An improved silver halide photographic materials comprising a support and a photographic layer unit thereon. The improvement is such that said photographic layer unit comprises a light sensitive layer having silver halide grains, of which a chloride content is not less than 30 mol %, and said photographic layer unit comprises not more than 2.8 g/m.sup.2 of gelatin, and a portion not less than 50 wt % of said gelatin has a jelly strength of not less than 240.
