ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one other hydrophilic colloid layer, wherein at least one compound represented by formula (I) is contained in at least one layer of the silver halide photographic material and wherein an organic material selected from the group consisting of a natural or synthetic water-soluble polymer is contained in at least one of the light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the other hydrophilic colloid layer such that at least 10% by weight of the organic material originally present in the layers of the silver halide photographic material is washed out from the layer during development processing:
