ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprises a support and provided thereon, a silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide grains and a macrocyclic compound in an amount of 1.times.10.sup.-6 to 1.times.10.sup.-1 mol per mol of silver, said macrocyclic compound comprising a 9- or more-membered ring containing at least one of a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom and a selenium atom, and said silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of not less than 90 mol % and containing at least one metal selected from the group consisting of metals of VIB group, VIIB group, VIII group, IIB group, IIIA group and IVA group from the Periodic Table.
