ABSTRACT:
Silver halide photographic emulsions which contain at least one sensitizing dye represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein Z represents a group of atoms necessary to form a benzisoxazole nucleus; R.sub.1 represents an aliphatic group; R.sub.2 represents an aliphatic group or an aryl group; and R.sub.3 represents an aryl group or an alkenyl group.
