ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to silver halide photographic element comprising a silver halide emulsion chemically sensitized in the presence of an isothiazolin-one compound represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a substituent; and Z is a substituted or unsubstituted saturated ring, wherein the isothiazolin-one compound was added after precipitation of the emulsion.
