ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having on at least one side thereof an undercoat polymer layer, a dye layer comprising hydrophilic colloid and a dye capable of being decolorized during development, and at least one silver halide emulsion layer in that order from the side of the support, wherein hydrophilic colloid in the dye layer is present at a coating weight of not more than about 0.5 g/m.sup.2 and the dye layer is dried at a temperature in the range of from about 80.degree. to about 160.degree. C.
