ABSTRACT:
A yellow color forming photographic coupler represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## in which X represents an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a coupling off group; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an aliphatic group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can combine to form a ring; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group.
