ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one photosensitive emulsion layer comprising a DIR coupler which is represented by general formula (I) below and a compound which is represented by general formula (R-1) below; ##STR1## wherein A represents a coupler residual group, n represents an integer of 0 or 1 with the proviso that when A represents a phenol type or naphthol type coupler residual group then n is 1, and when A represents some other coupler residual group then n is 0, and R represents an alkyl group which has from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a pyridyl group;
