ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least a silver halide emulsion layer is described, wherein the photographic material contains a cyan dye-forming coupler represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aryl, or heterocylic ring group; B represents --O-- or --NR.sub.1 --, wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or aryl group; Z represents an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group or an alkyl or aralkyl group substituted by a carboxy group or a hydroxy group; A represents a substituted aryl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic ring group; and m represents 0 or 1, provided that when m is 0 the substituent is not an alkoxy group, a halogen atom or a cyano group.
