ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least three silver halide emulsion layers which have different color sensitivities from each other, wherein at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one magenta coupler represented by general formula (I) shown below, at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one compound represented by general formula (II) shown below, at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one compound represented by general formula (III) shown below and the pH of the layers of the silver halide color photographic material is from 5.0 to 6.5: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, X, Za, Zb, Zc, Q, M, Z, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, V.sub.1, V.sub.2, V.sub.3, V.sub.4, V.sub.5, V.sub.6, B.sub.7, V.sub.8, and X.sub.n are defined in the specification.
