ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted tertiary alkyl or aryl group; R.sub.2 represents a chlorine atom or an alkoxy group; R.sub.3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group; R.sub.4 represents a chlorine atom when R.sub.1 represents a tertiary alkyl group or represents a hydrogen atom or a chlorine atom when R.sub.1 represents an aryl group, and a process for forming yellow images using the same. The material can be processed by a developer solution that contains no benzyl alcohol.
